Cast Iron Skillet Nachos

Need the perfect dish that everyone will enjoy? A real crowd pleaser? Look no further than our easy to make and delicious Cast Iron Skillet Nachos! Let's dive right in!


  • Tortilla chips
  • Plantain chips
  • Shredded cheese blend (Monterey jack, cheddar, asadero and queso)
  • Pulled pork
  • Black olives and/or green olives
  • Thinly slice jalapenos
  • Avocado
  • Cilantro
  • Green onions
  1. Fire up your WPPO oven and let it heat up to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Layer your chips in the bottom of a cast iron skillet, sprinkle some cheese over the chips, and then layer some pulled pork over the chips and cheese. Add some black or green olives with some sliced jalapenos.
  3. Put the skillet into the oven for about five minutes, or until you can see that the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  4. Remove the skillet and repeat Step 2 from above to create another layer of the ingredients.
  5. Again, place the skillet in the oven and bake until the cheese is nice and bubbly.
  6. Take the skillet out of the oven and top it with green onions, avocado, cilantro, sour cream, pico de gallo, or whatever other toppings you enjoy!
